Depuis 1744, à Mouriès, dans la vallée des Baux de Provence, le Moulin Saint Michel reçoit la récolte des oléiculteurs des Alpilles. Le vieux moulin a été conservé et vous accueille pour une visite des plus authentiques.
It is in the heart of the Vallée des Baux, in Mouriès that the Moulin Saint Michel has been located since 1744. For three generations, the Rossi family has developed a passion for this place, this history and this noble profession.
In the respect of ancestral techniques, the olives are stored in our granaries before being taken down to the heart of the mill to be stripped, washed and crushed. We carry out a first and only cold extraction to bring out the character of the olive oil while preserving the identity that each variety brings to a quality classified as extra virgin.
You will find in our oils of character the soil of the Alpilles, the varieties of olives (Salonenque, Aglandau, Grossane and Verdale) typical of the PDO and the hand of the miller.
This savoir-faire has earned us no less than 76 awards and distinctions since 1975.
In each drop of this precious nectar, there is a piece of our country, a piece of our heart and our passion.
You will also find a selection of local products in the shop: jams, honey, broken olives from the Vallée des Baux, tapenades... And of course, our olive oils.
