Mas-Blanc-des-Alpilles is the smallest community of the department, set in the north of the Alpilles, at the foot of a beautiful hill towards Arles and the Montagnette mountain Chain.

Visit the smallest village in the Provence

There is a nice walk by the way of Rousty joining the old Roman way which formerly connected Saint- Etienne-du-Grès to Saint-Rémy-de-Provence.

Be sure not to miss the ”Fête de Saint Lambert” (“ Saint Lambert Festival”) on the first weekend of September, when the village comes alive for three days, with Camargue bull races, boules game competitions, giant aïoli (literally a sauce made from olive oil and garlic, served as a dip for vegetable crudité, boiled eggs and shellfish) and folk dances.

Must-sees :

• Saint Lambert Chapel.
• Hike on the ancient Roman road.
