The Alpilles Regional Nature Park aims to protect and enhance the natural, cultural and human heritage of its territory, which is organized around an innovative policy of planning and economic, social and cultural development, concerned with sustainable development and respect for the environment.
The mission of the Maison du Parc (House of the Park) :

The Alpilles is a mountainous massif in a triangle formed by the Rhône, the Durance and the Crau Plain. Our territory is 30 kilometres long and over 10 kilometres wide.
The Alpilles offer a great diversity of flora and fauna, including many rare and protected species as well as over 800 plant species.
