Hiking enthusiasts will want to discover the oppidum of the Caisses de Jean-Jean and experience the beauty of nature.

Other circuits on foot or by bike will allow you to visit the territory off the beaten track.

People in Mouriès are very attached to their Provençal culture which they joyfully promote during numerous festivals throughout the year. According to the famous French singer Charles Aznavour who took up residence in the village, “To come to Mouriès is like returning to your homeland  without actually having been born there”.

Ever since 1927, the town has had its own bullring where bullfighting traditions are perpetuated. On the third weekend of June, the Bullfighting Club organizes the “Fête du Riban” (“The Ribbon Festival”) with abrivados (bulls let loose in the streets, encircled with cavaliers from the Camargue region), Provençal parades and the election of the “Reine du Ruban” (“Queen of the Ribbon”).

The « Fête Votive de la Saint-Louis » (Votive Festival of Saint-Louis) takes place at the end of August. Renowned throughout the region, it offers above all a large Aïoli (literally a sauce made from olive oil and garlic, served as a dip for vegetable crudité, boiled eggs and shellfish) shared  in a convivial atmosphere. Finally, in September, “La Fête des Olives Vertes” (“The Green Olives Festival”) honours the olive and, moreover, offers one of the most prestigious Provençal processions.
