Château d'Estoublon

Historic site and monument

The history of the estate, sometimes peaceful, often marked by wars, confrontations and successive freezes, is intimately linked to that of the Baux-de-Provence Valley, of which it is without doubt one of the most remarkable sites.

Like this typically Provencal land, deeply rooted in its traditions, the Domaine d'Estoublon has a rich and romantic past, which is directly linked to the eventful history of the town of Les Baux-de-Provence and to that of a unique terroir in France.
Rebuilt at the end of the 17th century on the site of an ancient fortress destroyed by the inhabitants of Les Baux, the castle and its chapel were not given the name Estoublon until the 18th century.
The Château d'Estoublon is one of the great estates of the Baux-de-Provence appellation. It lives to the rhythm of the olive harvest and the grape harvest.
