On Sunday 12 May, the flame of the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games will light up the streets of the village of Eygalières!

The whole village is getting ready to live to the rhythm of the Olympics!

The festivities kick off at 10.00am, in a festive atmosphere!

Sporting activities, artistic performances and cultural events will liven up the streets, creating an unforgettable festive atmosphere!

The event programme (subject to change) :

**OPENING CEREMONY - 10AM - STADIUM

- La Marseillaise, sung by lyric soprano Barbara Derathé
- La Danse des Jeux, flash mob by school children

**SPORTS AND ARTISTIC EVENTS FROM 10.30AM TO 5PM

10.30am - Tennis: Wheelchair tennis, demonstration and practice with the Tennis Club d'Eygalières
10.30am - Ehpad: Dance, for the residents of the Ehpad La Sousto by the Co-Incidanse company
10.30am - Maison des Sports René Fontés: Motricity for children aged 18 months to 3 years, by the Li Petouset crèche
10.30am - Stade: Concert by Barbara Derathé
10.30am - City Stade: A.P.A, adapted physical activity, cecifoot, volleyball, motor skills

1pm - Village: A parade of musicians, dancers and circus artists by the Planète Vapeur company

5pm - Stade: Concert by the orchestra of the Claude Debussy School of Music in Rognonas

- Salle des Fêtes: Health" stands with screening, information and discussions with professionals
- Champ de Foire: Mobil'Sport, 40 sports to discover on the initiative of the Fédération Nationale du Sport en Milieu Rural (National Federation of Sport in Rural Areas)
- Stade: La Tour Aventure, by the M'Eygagrimpe climbing club, for children aged 3 and over

FROM 1.30 P.M. TO 5 P.M.
- Maison des sports René Fontés: Wheelchair rugby demonstrations and workshops with the Lions Rocassiers Rugby Club

- Stade: Challenges with the Football Club Mollégès d'Eygalières in collaboration with the Grand Vaucluse Football District
- Salle des Fêtes: Lectures on the theme of "Sport and Health
Olivier BLIN, Professor of Pharmacology at Aix-Marseille University, certified in Neurology, Psychiatry and Medical Biology, will be giving 4 lectures. He will be joined by various speakers from the medical, sporting and artistic worlds.

3.15pm: Rare diseases
3.45pm: The major challenges of the 21st century (Round Table)
