Educational workshops at Château de Montauban

- Medieval games: after practising the game of merelle, the children make their own game and fashion clay pieces.
- The art of stained glass: children learn about the technique of stained glass and how it is used, then make a stained glass window on coloured paper tracing paper.
- Fantastic animals: children discover the medieval bestiary, filled with hybrid and mythological animals, and create their own imaginary animal.
- Archaeology riddles: children discover the profession of archaeologist and the riddles that these scientists must solve to understand the history of an ancient site.
- Daudet, raconte moi une histoire' (Daudet, tell me a story): after reading Mr Seguin's Goat, the children use their imaginations to find a different destiny for Blanchette.
- Daudet's poetic herbarium: this workshop allows children to immerse themselves in the poetic and plant world of Daudet and create a small literary herbarium.
- Life in the château: children will be immersed in the daily life of the château's inhabitants in the 19th century. How was the Ambroys' house organised? They can then imagine their own dream home and complete the architect's work.
