Between tradition and renewal, in the heart of the Alpilles, lies Le Domaine du Grand Fontanille, a secret place nestled in the forest.
A setting that extends over 60 hectares, including 4.5 hectares of vineyards, a 17th century bastide with a majestic double staircase, formal gardens and fountains.
In an enchanting setting, the sales cellar and the sumptuous 17th century bastide invite you to discover the place, its history and its wines...
Nicolas Jourdan, the new manager of the estate, is brimming with ideas and new projects to develop and bring the Grand Fontanille to life, while remaining faithful to the traditions and values of the place. A child of Arles, Nicolas comes from a family of winemakers. Trained in Burgundy and at Domaine Hauvette, he is now the new winemaker and oenologist of the estate. A fresh eye to perpetuate the culture of the vine and to elaborate wines with a strong identity.
At the domain, the soil is still worked by horse and the vines have been cultivated organically since the beginning.
The team of the domain will be happy to let you taste the wines and discover these places full of history!
