The "Climbing in the Alpilles" guidebook is available at the reception of the Alpilles en Provence Tourist Office.
In summer, forest areas are more exposed to the risk of fire. To protect walkers and sites, access to the Bouches-du-Rhône massifs, including the Alpilles, is regulated from 1 June to 30 September.
The danger levels are determined daily by forest massif. They can be consulted from 6pm onwards for the following day at: www.bpatp.paca-ate.fr.
