À sa création, en avril 1935, la commune de Saint-Étienne du Grès décide de créer un marché de producteurs. Il fonctionne toute l’année les lundis, mercredis et vendredis après-midi et accueille en moyenne, 440 producteurs et 230 acheteurs.
Le Marché aux fruits et légumes André Vidau se tient les lundi, mercredi et vendredi de 14h à 18h environ. Le bureau n'est ouvert qu'à ce moment-là.
