Tuesday 07 November, 8.15pm: Don Quixote - Acosta / Petipa, two intermissions
Full of wit and an abundance of brilliant choreography, this dynamic 19th-century ballet is brought to life by the lively music of Ludwig Minkus and is a magnificent demonstration of the virtuosity of the Royal Ballet's principal dancers.

Sunday 17 December, 3pm: The Nutcracker - Ivanov / Wright
Julia Trevelyan Oman's period designs bring a festive charm to Peter Wright's beloved Royal Ballet production, where fairytale magic combines with spectacular dancing in this unforgettable classical ballet.

Tuesday 26 March, 8.15pm: Madame Butterfly - Puccini
For all its beauty and romanticism, Puccini's Madame Butterfly remains a deeply moving and disturbing story, fatally linked to the destructive forces of imperialism. Moshe Leiser and Patrice Caurier's poignant and pictorial production stars Asmik Grigorian as Cio-Cio-San with Joshua Guerrero as Pinkerton.

Wednesday 1 May, 7:45pm: Carmen - Bizet
Damiano Michieletto's sparkling new production evokes all the passion and warmth of Bizet's composition, featuring the sensual Habanera of Carmen and the lively song of Toreador. Antonella Manacorda and Emmanuel Villaume lead an exciting international cast with Aigul Akhmetshina in the title role. Sung in French

Tuesday 11 June, 8:15 pm: Andrea Chenier - Giordano
Jonas Kaufmann headlines this spectacular staging by David McVicar, conducted by his long-time collaborator Antonio Pappano - who directs Giordano's epic historical drama of revolution and forbidden love in his last production as Music Director of the Royal Opera. Sung in Italian with French subtitles
