Raymond MARTINEZ gives photography workshops and offers to guide his trainees in the practice of phototourism. For years he has been carrying out artistic work and taking pictures for companies.
My current activity is composed of 4 different aspects:
I run photography workshops and after more than thirty years of experience, I take great pleasure in sharing my experience and knowledge. These workshops are aimed at beginners as well as more experienced amateurs who wish to perfect the handling of the camera. They allow you to master the technique so that you only have the pleasure of taking pictures.
The fundamental technical notions of photography are covered: control of focus and exposure, shutter speed, sensitivity, diaphragm, depth of field, white balance, focal length, image format, etc. By mastering these notions, one feels freer to control the light on the subject, to find the right angle and the right framing. The advice of a professional allows you to move from theory to practice to create photographs that resemble you, to choose them, to retouch them, to assemble them to tell stories in images.
The subjects are multiple: landscape, architecture, portrait, street photography, reportage, abstract photography...
For the more experienced students, I also cover advanced techniques such as long exposure, multiple shots and photomontages.
For these workshops, I have set up the concept of "Phototourism" allowing you to learn photography while discovering the nature and heritage of the region.

I make communication photographs for companies and communities, especially since 2020, I also offer aerial shots from drone.

I also invite amateurs to live a specific experience: discover Arles by making images in the footsteps of the painter Vincent van Gogh.
I also present a work of personal expression with images of artistic creation that I exhibit in France and abroad. Some of my photographic work has been included in image banks in France and the UK.
