Exhibition of Pierre Jaccaud in the small salon at the Musée Estrine, from 12 March to 29 May 2022 !
Pierre Jaccaud is a painter, decorator and theatre director trained at the Ecole des Beaux-Arts in Marseille (Claude Viallat workshop). For the past 30 years, he has been living in the Luberon where he has undertaken to produce a painting diary that bears witness to his daily presence in the landscape. The Luberon is a massif close to Cézanne's Sainte Victoire and Van Gogh's Alpilles. Pierre Jaccaud uses a classical technique of pastels, coloured pencils, watercolours, charcoal and acrylics to create views of the landscape in the tradition of nature painters. Every day, he goes to the hill to paint the lights, the passing of time, the seasons. Everything is the same without ever being the same...
