The Old Church of Saint-Laurent is the former parish church of Eygalières, located in the old village.
The Old Church of Saint-Laurent was built on the northern rampart of the village at the beginning of the 12th century, and then modified in the 18th and 19th centuries.
It was a place of worship from 1155 to 1905, in pure Romanesque style. The interior is typical of Provencal churches from the same period.
It was listed as a Historic Monument in 1983.
Now renovated, it provides a wonderful backdrop for a wide range of artistic and cultural events.
The interior of the church is only accessible when exhibitions are being organised and during the European Heritage Days.
