Since 1900 and for four generations in Salon-de-Provence, the Marius Fabre soap factory has been perpetuating the traditional production of Marseille soap. Come and visit our workshops and our Marseille Soap Museum.
The Marius Fabre soap factory has preserved some of its most precious artefacts: engraved boxwood stamps, tools, the first soap moulding machines, stencils for shipping crates, old packaging, headed paper, washing boards, etc. Reflecting a very ancient activity that is still very much alive.
Permanent exhibition area: 600m².
Come and discover the authentic atmosphere of our soap factory and its production workshops during a guided tour. A time for sharing and discovery, young and old alike will learn about a unique skill that is still alive and well, handed down from generation to generation in our family.

Tour times
Guided tours take place every Tuesday and Thursday at 10.30am and every Wednesday and Saturday at 2.30pm.
During the short school holidays, tours run from Monday to Saturday, at 10.30am and 2.30pm.
During the summer period from 10 July to 2 September
Guided tours run from Monday to Saturday. Mornings from 9.45am to 11.15am (departures every 30 minutes) and afternoons from 2.15pm to 5.45pm (departures every 30 minutes).
Open on 14 July, 15 August and for the European Heritage Days. Closed on other public holidays.
