Lecture by Carole Gallas: Van Gogh en Provence, Thursday 26 September at 6.30pm at the Ciné-Palace in Saint-Rémy-de-Provence
Carole Gallas, who has a degree in art history, is a guide, heritage mediator and vice-president of the SHASRP, invites you to a lecture on Van Gogh in Provence at the Ciné-Palace on 26 September at 6.30pm.
"Originally from Provence, I've been fascinated by this world-renowned artist for a very long time.
I want to highlight the two years when Vincent Van Gogh discovered Arles and Saint-Rémy-de-Provence. It was here that he painted his Provençal Japan incessantly during a very productive period. Thanks to his many letters and paintings, we now have a complete record of the work of an extraordinary creative genius.
But who really knows Vincent Van Gogh?
Come and discover ‘my’ Vincent Van Gogh." Carole Gallas
