La Caravane des Alpilles - Edition 2024

Bringing dance to the towns and villages of the Alpilles...

For the 4th edition of the Caravane des Alpilles - an event initiated by the Théâtre des Calanques on the territories of the PNRA des Alpilles, supported by the Région Sud and the communes of Saint-Etienne du Grès, Les Baux de Provence, Maussane les Alpilles - it's the energy of brass bands of all stripes that will be invited to inject the special flavour of a festive, popular, whimsical and humorous offering. Musical groups with contrasting identities, from all horizons and regions of France, will rub shoulders: traditional Pena reminiscent of the tunes of the southern féridas, lively percussion, crazy brass bands, instrumental choreography... The joyful dynamic of brass bands is also contagious.
