WINTER CONCERT 2025
FRIDAY 7 FEBRUARY - CINÉ PALACE, 8PM
Made up of Caroline Casadesus (soprano) and her two sons Thomas and David Enhco (piano and trumpet), the trio explodes the boundaries between genres, exploring the great classical repertoire as well as jazz standards and original creations, from Handel to Bizet, Kurt Weill to Chopin, Puccini to Enhco and Purcell to Miles Davis.
‘It's a great pleasure and a real thrill to share the stage with my two sons David and Thomas. Music has become their mother tongue and our favourite playground. As the heir of a large family with an essentially ‘classical’ culture, I wanted to give them, from an early age, the means to embrace the rigour of the classical tradition and the freedom of improvisation. Our reason for living: a story of transmission, a family story, a story of love that we happily share.
Caroline Casadesus, the mother, was born into a family of artists and turned to singing after studying history. Working with various symphony orchestras, she has performed the great arias of the operatic repertoire as well as contemporary composers.
In 2005, she presented an explosive show, Le Jazz et la Diva, directed by Alain Sachs, at the Théâtre de la Gaieté-Montparnasse in Paris, which was soon nominated at the Victoires de la Musique awards in 2006 and won the Molière for Best Musical Show.
Her two sons joined her for a second part of the show, Le jazz et la Diva Opus 2, for 200 performances in France and abroad, in front of more than 100,000 spectators. David Enhco (trumpet) and Thomas Enhco (violin and piano) are young virtuosos who both studied classical and jazz at the Centre des Musiques Didier Lockwood and the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris. They have given numerous concerts in France (Salle Pleyel, Théâtre des Champs-Elysées, Olympia, Festival de Marciac) and abroad (United States, Morocco, China, Japan, Burkina-Faso).
