The Green Olive Festival is listed as part of France's intangible cultural heritage, promoting quality craftsmanship and an exceptional product: the PDO cracked olive from the Vallée des Baux.
SATURDAY 14TH SEPTEMBER
- All day long:
From 7am to 5pm - Quartier Saint-Roch: Garage sale.
From 10am to 7pm - Parc du Moulin Peyre: Old Engines Day.
In the bucolic setting of this recently restored former mill, old tractors, vintage cars and two-wheeled motors will delight enthusiasts and novices alike.
10am to 5pm - Parc du Moulin Peyre and Cours Paul Révoil: Traditional music and dance.
The folk groups Li Coudelet Dansaïre and the peña La Provençale will liven up the day with estrambords!

8.30am - Café de l'Avenir: Contrée-game competition.
10.30 am - Cours Paul Révoil: Parade of old engines.
Motorised vehicles from another era and people in traditional costumes will make their way through the heart of the village in a boisterous and joyous procession.
11am - Cours Paul Révoil: Aïoli competition.
Registration from 10.30am at the Comité des Fêtes stand.
Master the art of making this typical sauce made from garlic and olive oil.
12pm - Cours Paul Révoil: Aperitif and concert.
A convivial moment hosted by the peña La Provençale.
4pm - Cours Paul Révoil: World competition for the best olive crusher.
Registration from 3.30pm at the Comité des Fêtes stand next to the stage (men's, women's and children's categories).
Come and test your skills and learn more about this age-old craft.
9pm - Cours Paul Révoil: Musical evening.
The festive day comes to a close with music by Duo Clairette, courtesy of the town council.
SUNDAY 15 SEPTEMBER
- Major events:
9.30am - Saint-Jacques Church: Solemn Mass for the Green Olive Festival.
11am - Village centre: Grand Provençal procession.
Theme: ‘Games and legends of Provence’ - The grand procession will evoke the games and legends of the village and Provence. Let us tell you some wonderful stories, such as the Legend of Terriciae, the Tarasque Games, Pierre de Coubertin's Modern Olympic Games of 1896, etc.
Chaired by Miss Amélie LAUGIER, Queen of the Pays d'Arles and her Demoiselles d'Honneur, and Miss Manon Dublé, Mouriès Queen of the Ribbon.
1pm - Cours Paul Révoil: Aperitif and concert.
Enjoy a gourmet moment on a café terrace, to the rhythm of the peña La Provençale.
2.30pm - André Blanc Arena: Traditional dances.
Guest groups perform gigue, fricassée, rigodon and other farandoles to the sound of the galoubet tambourine.
3.45pm - André Blanc Arena: Capelado and Camargue bull race.
