The Fête des Lumières was born out of the desire of shopkeepers in Saint-Rémy-de-Provence town centre to offer everyone a special evening in the run-up to Christmas.

The magic of Christmas in Saint-Rémy-de-Provence
Every year, Saint-Rémy-de-Provence takes on a fairytale air thanks to Emile, the passionate owner of two superb decoration shops. A true creator, he lights up the town centre square with enchanting decorations, meticulously designed to capture everyone's imagination. Visitors flock in droves, drawn by the splendour and authenticity of these unique illuminations that mark the start of the festivities.
The Festival of Lights in Saint-Rémy-de-Provence is a flagship event, celebrated in December. This tradition lets you marvel at the light show and the Provençal Christmas spirit.
