From 24 February to 9 June 2024, the Espace Hôtel de Lagoy will be exhibiting "Francis Bacon - The Flesh, the Blood, the Tragic".
Comprising eight movements, including two major symphonies, the exhibition presents the world of his early years: the violent events that drove his creative spirit, his readings, his inspirations, his essential encounter with the work of Pablo Picasso, his daily life, his loves, the reconstruction of Palaeolithic drawings from one of the caves in northern Spain, which the master considered to be "the best drawings in the world"...
