The Vallée des Baux Pastoral Unit is pleased to announce:
Building on the success of the Christmas and Family Night Mass in 2022 and 2023, this celebration will be held again on Tuesday 24 December 2024 in Mouriès, at 6pm in the Church of Saint Jacques.
As a prelude, the commune will be offering a Roussataïo (Camargue mares and foals led by the Gardians) with torches at 5.15pm (Rue du Temple, Place de l'Église, Cours Paul Révoil and Parc Moulin Peyre).
Vigil and sung Mass!
Passing on Provençal traditions to children, with the living cot, the Shepherds and Shepherdesses, the Arlésiennes and the People of the Land, the Gardians and the Tambourinaires of the Vallée des Baux.
Rehearsals!
The parish would like to inform you that 3 rehearsals will be held on Wednesdays 4, 11 and 18 December 2024 at 6.30pm in the Church of Saint Jacques for those wishing to sing during the celebration, choristers, Arlésiennes, tambourines, shepherds, gardians, people in costume, etc.
