Following the success of the first show in 2023, the Alpilium invites you to discover Quand on était seul.es on Tuesday 4 February at 8pm at the Alpilium.
After last year's success with Ven, we've decided, for once, to continue the adventure with this company. A new show, somewhere between dance and circus, accompanied by a multi-instrumentalist musician.
Two acrobats, a musician, a Chinese mast and guitars fill the stage in a purely aesthetic performance. The essence of solitude is explored, as we seek to connect without becoming confused, and then try to find the hidden strength deep within us.
Quand on était seul.es is about becoming anchored, pulling yourself up, throwing yourself down and falling. It's the music that carries as much as the body. It's the bonds we forge as we dance. Love invites itself in, revealing itself in many different ways. And the strength is in putting yourself at risk, without knowing if you'll stay there.
