On Thursday 25 January at 8pm, discover the show "Thibault Cauvin" at the Alpilium!
One of the greatest classical guitarists of his generation, renowned the world over. The programme includes a selection of his albums: film music, Cities, compositions inspired by his travels, Brouwer and, of course, Bach.
If we had to remember a few figures from his career, we'd say 1 guitar, 13 first prizes, 1,000 concerts in over 120 countries - 12 albums. That's just to impress you, because there's more to Thibault Cauvin than that... Beyond his incredible virtuosity and child prodigy, his guitar has a soul and he has a unique life story. For fifteen years, the little prince of the six-string lived like a nomad, with no home and no ties. This experience gave rise to a radio series broadcast on France Musique. Seeing the world and meeting so many cultures has given this gifted child, now in his thirties, the power to charm audiences of all kinds. Thibault plays, tells and makes us dream.
