Ravel is best known for his bolero, but his musical output is equally diverse.
The great pianist Michel Dalberto will offer us an anthology of them.
Michel Dalberto entered the Paris Conservatoire in the class of Vlado Perlemuter, a disciple of Maurice Ravel. His immense career began when he won two of the most renowned competitions: the Clara Haskil Prize in 1975 and the Leeds 1st Prize in 1978.
His vast repertoire is reflected in an impressive discography of over 45 CDs for various labels. Considered an exceptional chamber music partner, he has shared the stage with many of the world's most renowned artists, including Barbara Hendricks, Jessye
Norman, Renaud Capuçon, Lynn Harrell and Michel Portal.
Michel Dalberto's Ravel is unlike any other. Although Ravel is sometimes delicate in his touch and often voluptuous in his resonance, above all he exerts a total hold over the keyboard and the listener, and Michel Dalberto demonstrates this with renewed power.
